NetVault: Backup Application Plugin Module for Exchange v4.5

The release of NetVault: Backup APM for Exchange v4.5 offers support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 including support for Database Availability Group (DAG) environments.

NetVault: Backup v8.5.1

The NetVault: Backup v8.5.1 release includes enhancements and important fixes. Customers who currently have NetVault: Backup v8.5 deployed are strongly encouraged to upgrade to NetVault: Backup v8.5.1. Key enhancements included in this release include: Raw Devices Plugin read performance improved on Linux/UNIX platforms, support for SAS and iSCSI Devices is now available for AIX and multiple NetVault: Backup Workstation Client enhancements.

NetVault: SmartDisk v1.1

The NetVault: SmartDisk v1.1 release includes the following enhancements: Additional information on the available Storage/Space within the NVSD Instance is available via the Storage tab of the NVSD Device Status window in the NVBU Console and the requirement to use specific names for the non-privileged user and group on the Mac OS X platform has been eliminated.

is a maintenance release that provides product fixes.

is a maintenance release that provides product fixes.

NetVault: FASTRecover v4.1.1

The release of NetVault: FASTRecover v4.1.1 introduces several enhancements — including support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010:

• Exchange 2010 Support
• Includes support for Single Location Database Availability Group (DAG) environments
• NetVault: FASTRecover Standalone Authentication
• The ability for NetVault: FASTRecover to manage authentication is now available for users who have not deployed Active Directory or Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
• Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) Access
• Support for accessing NetVault: FASTRecover Management Console via HTTPS is now available
• Enhanced Common Internet File System (CIFS) Configuration Process
• Provides the ability to add groups for users who have CIFS Views privileges via Configure Access dialogs for Active Directory and LDAP

For customers with current maintenance agreements, BakBone recommends upgrading to NetVault: Backup v8.5 free of charge.
