SmartClients is available as a product option for
NetVault™ WorkGroup, DataCenter and Enterprise Editions. Add intelligence
to a SAN or NAS with SmartClients. SmartClients are enabled with the ability to control a locally attached media
device. A SmartClient can call data from all clients on a network and move that
data to storage without going through the server.
