Dynamically Shared Devices (DSD) is available as a product option for
NetVault™ WorkGroup, DataCenter and Enterprise Editions. With
Dynamically Shared Devices, you can share all of your tape hardware resources among
all NetVault™ servers and clients - in SAN or NAS environments. You can increase availability through
dynamic failover of your backup data to a standby drive if the preliminary
drive goes down.
