David Schneider joined BakBone in 2007 as vice president of the Strategic Partner Group. David has over 23 years of experience in the IT industry, most recently as the managing director of Coral Sea Holdings, Inc., a Florida-based private equity firm. Prior to founding Coral Sea Holdings, David served as president and chief executive officer of the Sanrise Group, a global storage service provider (SSP) with over 400 people and offices around the world. He was successful in raising over $200M for the company in its first 11 months and leveraged these investments to build a business that delivered storage services to more than 1,000 clients around the world (such as Morgan Stanley, General Motors, Toyota and SingTel). David also held a number of senior management and sales management positions at AT&T. David attended the University of Florida and has completed executive technology programs and MBA programs at Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and the Graduate School of Business, Harvard University.
