SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - November 18, 2002 - BakBone Software, a global provider of storage management software, announced that Los Alamos National Laboratory, of Los Alamos, NM, is using its NetVault Backup and Recovery solution to support their Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) switched NAS storage network. NetVault is used to protect over 50 terabytes of advanced scientific applications data across a variety of devices in both SAN and NAS configurations.

NetVault's key features include its ability to support advanced NDMP functionality for NAS, and the Los Alamos SAN/NAS backup strategy over GbE.
