NetVault's Open File Manager APM seamlessly integrates into any NetVault backup and restore job management scheme, capturing open and in-use files through the creation of a point-in-time image. The processes are disk-based so anti-virus and other file-based applications do not interfere with the integrity of the backed up data. The Open File Manager APM automatically provides dynamic image caching in 1Kbyte increments, minimizing on-disk space utilization while providing maximized performance.
