SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 2000--World-famous sailor Dennis Conner, who has successfully skippered teams in the America's Cup three times over the last quarter-century, is gearing up to help launch BakBone Software's Partner Advisory Council this coming weekend.

Conner will host more than a dozen of North America's top value-added resellers, who are playing a key role in BakBone's (TSE: BKB) introduction of its NetVault™ storage management software to the market. That introduction is scheduled to be formally announced later this summer. They will join Conner on board his "Stars and Stripes" yacht for a sail on the waters off San Diego.
