Lawrence, MA - August 2, 2000 - RAID™, the Massachusetts based high-end RAID and SAN system manufacturer, has agreed to enter into a strategic partnership with BakBone Software (TSE: BKB, OTCBB: BKBOF), a leading manufacturer of centralized backup, recovery, and enterprise storage management software products.

Under the agreement, RAID™ will integrate, sell, and support BakBone's NetVault™ storage management software along with RAID's Cobra-3®, Cobra-3 Enterprise®, Xanadu®, and Anaconda™ storage and backup product lines.

NetVault is centralized enterprise storage management software, featuring the ability to easily manage the most intensive backup, restore and archiving functions across a wide range of computer platforms. NetVault's scalable, advanced modular architecture operates across distributed heterogeneous client/server and multi-user environments, and is specifically designed for the next generation of network storage applications, such as storage area networks (SANs), as well as today's requirements.
